Govt Plans to Stop Work Permits for Domestics

The government plans to cease issuing work permits for maids, housekeepers and laborers within a year, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Fred Mitchell said yesterday. Mitchell said that category makes up the bulk of work permit applications at the Department of Immigration.
